Project Second Chance student publishes book of poetry!

Project Second Chance student, Ike Eikanger, recently published his first book of poetry titled, A Journey from Illiteracy to Poetry. Ike’s two volunteer tutors, Ted and Helen, helped him to find the talent he had buried inside of himself. His collection of 200+ poems and short stories is marvelous. Some will make you laugh, and some will bring tears to your eyes, but all of them are a testament to the human spirit – to persevering even when people tell you that you can’t do something.
