Ron Shoop from Random House really pulled out all the stops as he presented “All Things Italian!” to an enthusiastic crowd at the Concord Library on Monday, September 22nd. He recommended books on Italian culture, food, non-fiction, and fiction. It was a lively evening, with lots of give and take with the audience. The Storyteller Bookstore was on hand to sell the titles, and a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to Project Second Chance. If you missed the fun, don’t despair! You can mark your calendar for November 18th from 6:30 – 8 p.m. when Ron will appear at the Pleasant Hill Library with book recommendations for holiday gift giving. You won’t want to miss it!
