Readers appreciate a good story – and the annual Bay Area Storytelling Festival is April 24-26 at the Orinda Community Center!
Featured tellers for the 2015 Bay Area Storytelling Festival are Tim Tingle, an Oklahoma Choctaw and an award-winning author and storyteller; Clare Murphy, who uses the platform of story to create shows full of observational humor, social commentary and epic journeys; and singer-songwriter Kate Campbell, who has an endearing, clear-water vocal delivery and an eloquent gift for storytelling. Our special guest is Hawaii’s first poet laureate, Kealoha.
