We are pleased to announce that Project Second Chance, the Contra Costa County Library’s adult literacy program, is recruiting for a 32 hour Library Literacy Assistant position, which will be located in Pleasant Hill. Major responsibilities will include: student recruitment and assessment; tutor recruitment, training and support; and overseeing and modernizing our Computer Learning Lab.
The work schedule will be:
Tuesday: 11:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. (1/2 hour lunch)
Wednesday – Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. (1/2 hour lunch)
In addition, there will be up to 9 working Saturdays required for tutor training.
