We are now "Friends of Project Second Chance"!

After nearly 40 years as Project Second Chance, Inc, we have changed our name* to Friends of Project Second Chance — or simply Friends of PSC. Historically, there has been some confusion between Project Second Chance, Inc., and Project Second Chance, the library entity. Our new name was chosen to reflect our role more clearly as a supportive partner to PSC, helping to bring services to the community beyond the capacity enabled by County funding, thus expanding the reach of PSC programming.

While our name has changed, our mission hasn’t. We continue to work closely with Project Second Chance to provide essential resources and promote this life-changing program. Looking ahead, we are hoping to expand our fundraising efforts to include corporate and foundation partners so we can offer even more support. Stay tuned for updates!

*Legally, we remain Project Second Chance, Inc., but now do business as Friends of Project Second Chance
